Maybe there wasn’t “overlap” but the timing is so close! WHY is a man with FOUR SMALL CHILDREN trying to make a new “family” so quickly? THE MESS OF IT ALL!
Grendel is such a perfect cat, I squeaked with delight over the whole story! My partner had a stray kitten take up space in his engine, and unknowingly drove to work while she was there. He heard her meowing when he parked, and with the help of coworkers, got her out. Someone at work adopted her (we have a persnickety bachelor cat, or we would have taken her) and named her Diesel. She is an adventure cat, with a panache for climbing into garbage cans.
Welp, you posted a picture of Hafþór Björnsson, so I'm here with the obligatory mention of his tiny dog Asterix, just in case somebody hasn't seen him yet.
