My god, Jerry Lee Lewis was SUCH TRASH. I remember when the movie Great Balls of Fire came out and I was like...”his cousin was HOW old?!” Total predator and abuser. I can’t listen to his music any more. Also he was a cousin of Jimmy Swaggart, the televangelist.
The bar exam is the absolute worst. I am sending vibes AND prayers (because I am a failure at understand minimum competency - bar exam joke) that our friend will never ever ever have to take one again.
Omgggg I'm in the "emotionally destroyed by Winnie the Pooh" camp too. One of my best friends loves it as much as I do and I bought her a Pooh plush once and alkjdlajlkda, feelings, crying, etc
His usual vet misdiagnosed him with a sprain, and the poor lil' dude has been limping around on a broken leg for MONTHS, and the surgery is so expensive. Crom is so very very loved, and his moms are so sad about the whole situation.
Disaster moulage is one of my favorite things! I started doing it as a kid to train EMTs, then disaster drills and active shooter drills as a teen, graduated to military drills, and never looked back. Now I design drills for a living. It's so fun. Highly highly recommend giving it a shot if you're at all interested.
I have no idea how well it works in a scared straight manner, but it works really well to kick first responders into high gear when an actual "bleeding" person staggers towards them.
Happy thursday! With the new country and the time difference, it's evening and the start of my weekend, and I am READY--it was a busy week at work, with lots of tears (happy and sad! Thankfully not mine!) Now I'm getting ready for my birthday trip next month; I'm meeting my bf for the first time since I moved (he moved too, but we're not in the same city). We have the same birthday, though, so I need to: 1, buy him a present and 1, figure out what I would like. What would y'all want to get as gifts?
Omg the reasons that spouse gives in defense of her husband......... "He can set up tents" WTF

My heart is breaking for the woman with the cruel husband. I hope she gets out of there and realizes she was perfectly wonderful all along

Is it okay if I share another GoFundMe for a pet in need? My fried's dog, Crom, who is PRECIOUS, has a fractured femur and needs surgery: https://www.gofundme.com/f/faildog?fbclid=IwAR1L4ZGMY-VwMIEOJwxs9pSqnfF1MhcHa7QHg_2WJySJcJSUI82o1ohQLCM

On the MDA telethon, Jerry Lewis said he'd rather put a gun in his mouth than have MD so....yes this is all believable.
